Launched in 1996 "Sophisticat" – better known as "Free Spirit Sailing Tours" – was established with the vision of providing our guests with an opportunity to tailor make a sailing adventure to suit their individual needs. Because we are an owner operator we are able to offer our services at very affordable rates without the hassles often encountered with those larger impersonal companies.

All of our yacht charters are Crewed which means you have a professional experienced person onboard to take care of the chores while you truly get the chance to put your feet up and RELAX on your well earned holiday. You may of course help with any facet of the charter but that is entirely your CHOICE.

Whether your idea is to have a family holiday, an adult group adventure for a few days or a floating function for a day such as a Christmas party, some corporate entertaining, or simply a social get together we can design a yacht charter that will impress all your guests. Free Spirit Sailing Tours can take you and your guests on a 3 hour tour for as little as $35 p/p (minimum of 15 guests).

If you want to cruise or sail longer that's no problem either as the boat can be chartered by the hour.
