A Private Crewed Boat Charter is the ideal way for those people without too many sailing skills to experience the pleasure of a boating holiday in what is arguably one of the finest sailing regions in the world. Typically 5 - 10 days in duration our crewed boat charters allow you to totally relax.
The Free Spirit crew will not only take care of the day-to-day chores in operating the vessel but will happily prepare your meals and even wash the dishes. Should you however like to be more hands on, you are certainly welcome to help hoist the sails, take the helm, and become part of the crew. This will be a holiday with real choices, where you get to experience the Whitsunday's at your own pace and with the opportunity of complete relaxation.
You will touch the very best beaches, experience secluded island anchorages and swim or snorkel fringing reefs alive with colorful tropical fish and vivid corals. As a Private Charterer you have full and exclusive occupancy of the vessel as well as the main say in your destinations (dependent on weather and tides).
With a professional skipper on board you also open up the opportunity to visit areas not accessible under Bareboat Hire nor do you have to comply with their rigid timetable of being at anchor by a specific time.
Skipper yourself (Bareboat) motor cruisers and yachts are restricted by government regulations to Bowen Harbor to the north and Mackay Harbor to the south. However, individual boat charter companies apply their own restrictions within this area. Boats under 10 metres (33 feet) are restricted further.
